WAFERSTRETCH™️ OUTER
Developed in collaboration with some of the UK’s top trail runners, our WaferStretch™ outer fabric was engineered to feel like it disappears when you put it on - ultra-light, silky soft, and built for endless miles. “Exceptionally soft,” noted British GQ, while Vanity Fair praised its “silk-like softness.” This fabric allows complete freedom of movement, no matter how far the trail takes you.
COMPRESSION LINING
The most-loved feature of our shorts. Before finalising the design, we tested numerous brands to understand what worked - and what didn’t. To remove any irritation around sensitive areas, we replaced the common single-stitch seam with a double-stitch construction. We also tailored the circumference for a snug, supportive fit. The result is an incredibly comfortable and secure liner designed for long-distance performance.
WAISTBAND & DRAWSTRING
As runners ourselves, we understood the importance of a well-fitting waistband. We tried a few other brands and noticed that the drawstring was often too thin, which caused high amounts of pressure on our hips and back. We decided to look to the world of luxury swimwear for inspiration, where we realised that the cotton drawcord was the perfect solution to creating bespoke fits without sacrificing comfort. We also added custom brushed metal aglets to the end of the cords, perfect for any adjustments when out in the open with cold fingertips.
POCKET SYSTEM
Every runner knows the importance of pockets. When you’re a few hours into a run, having ample storage is crucial. The shorts have 4 pockets in total. We have the two side pockets, with the right pocket zipped for gels and food. We have the compression lining pocket for post-run phone storage and additional fuel storage if needed. Lastly, we have a centralised back zip pocket for more gels, fuel, or keys and cards as they may be needed.
